Honeymill Pure Arbutus Honey is made with nectar collected by bees from the Arbutus evergreen shrubs or Strawberry Trees in France. Arbutus Honey is dark in colour and has an intense and lingering bitter taste, with hints of coffee drags and leather aftertaste. 

Arbutus Honey is rarely produced and commonly exported to wealthy Arab countries. This honey is suitable for individuals who enjoy stronger honey and it is of an acquired taste. The fruits of the Arbutus Tree are also commonly distilled into liqueur or brandy. Researches and scientists have found that there is a correlation between the colour of honey and levels of antioxidant activities – darker honey tends to have higher antioxidant properties. 

Store this honey in room temperature, in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight. It is not necessary to keep honey in the refrigerator. Always use a dry spoon for honey.

Crystallisation rate of Arbutus Honey is slow. Hence Arbutus Honey is likely to remain in liquid state for a longer period. Crystallisation is a natural process of honey.
