Lychee Honey is a very light coloured monofloral honey. Harvested from September to November in Northern Thailand, the beehives are located near the lychee orchards for efficient pollination and production.
The Lychee Honey has a delicate flavour with a taste slightly reminiscent of roses. It is an ideal breakfast booster as it goes well as a topping for toast or sweetener in tea. The local Thais use it as an ingredient in their dishes.
The lychee fruit is reported to contain more essential nutrients than grapes and apples.
Crystallization of Lychee Honey is fast.
